The marquee encounter in Sri Lankan schools’ rugby, the prestigious Bradby Shield fixture between Royal College Colombo and Trinity College Kandy will come alive for the 75th time on the 11th of May.
The first leg will be played at Pallekelle, the home den of Trinity College Kandy after which the second leg will see the players travel down to the Royal Complex on the 25th of May for the Shield decider.
The 1st leg of the shield will kick off at the Pallekale Rugby stadium in Kandy on the 11th of May while the second leg on the 25th of May will be at the Royal Complex in Colombo. The first leg will also serve as a League fixture in the Singer School’s Rugby League.

However, Trinity College will be eyeing a victory this year having not brought back the shield in 4 years, since 2014 when they last won it. From Royal’s point of view they will look to continue their impressive form, trying to cut back on the overall deficit.
