For the first time ever in Sri Lankan Baseball History, a Sri Lankan baseball player has been registered in Minor League as a level 1 player for the upcoming 2019/20 season in the USA. Chirath Karunarathna, a proud product of Nalanda College, Colombo has turned a golden page in the history books, writing a new chapter making the baseball scouts predictions into a reality.
