The Ministry of Education has directed Provincial Education Directors to limit outdoor activities in light of the coronavirus outbreak.
Secretary to The Ministry of Education N.M.M. Chithranananda stated guidelines on the matter have been passed on to all education directors for forwarding to Principals.
The Ministry had further called on educational authorities to ensure that students and parents coming from overseas are subject to a 14 day quarantine period.
