The “Inter House Cricket Championship” concluded with house Citrine emerging as the Champions and Sapphire securing the Runners-up title on last Saturday, 3 October 2020. House Emerald gained the third place against the house Ruby after an intense battle.
Prof. E.A. Weerasinghe, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Bharatha Dodankotuwa, Head of Academics and Quality Assurance, Mr. Kasun Dissanayake, Head of Student Affairs/MIC- Cricket and along with the house leaders; Ms. Dilini Dissanayake- Citrine, Ms. Samadhi Weerathne- Ruby, Mr. Lasitha De Silva and Ms. Kalni Peiris along with Ms. Sashini Gayanika from the house Sapphire, graced the occasion.
The players were awarded medals and certificates in appreciating their dedication and passion towards this global sport, Cricket.
