Hackathon 2019, on ‘Arduino and Robotics’ was successfully conducted by Old Mahindians 1999 Group at Mahinda College Olcott Hall on 1st of February 2019, with the participation of students of Mahinda College.
This programme was conducted by Old Mahindian (1999 Group) Dr. Prabath Weerasinghe, Head of Faculty of Computing, NSBM Green University (Currently, he is a Director of the UGC approved Degree Programmes).
As part of this project, Old Mahindians 1999 Group donated 20 Arduino Starter Kíts to the Mahinda College ICT Lab. As the group invited all the Mahindians who have an interest on this subject area to gather knowledge, the participation of interested students was well admired.
The event became a success with the participation of Old Mahindian Mr. Theekshana Kumara, CEO of software giant – Vizuamatix, who joined to identify the talents of the young Mahindians.
