Hurdler from Rajapaksha Central College, Weerakatiya, Shayama Dulani finished her maiden international outing in emphatic fashion as she won the Gold medal in the 400m hurdles at the Thailand Open Athletics Championship yesterday.
The 26-year old clocked a modest 01 minute 02.49 seconds, but it was enough for her to win the Gold medal, with Koniel Donna of Papua New Guinea finishing second and Suchada Meersi of Thailand coming in third.
