කෝවිඩ් -19 වසංගතය හේතුවෙන් අ.පො.ස. උසස් පෙළ (උ/පෙ) සහ 05 ශ්රේණියේ ශිෂ්යත්ව විභාග දැනටමත් දෙවරක් කල් දමා ඇත.
මුල් අවධියේදී තත්ත්වය පාලනය කිරීම සඳහා ශ්රී ලංකා රජය නිසි පියවර ගත් අතර ඔක්තෝම්බර් මාසයේදී විභාග පැවැත්වීමට තීරණය කළේය. අවාසනාවකට මෙන්, COVID 19 හි දෙවන රැල්ල ඔක්තෝබර් මස ආරම්භ වූ අතර දිවයින පුරා වේගයෙන් ව්යාප්ත වෙමින් පවතී. එය දැනටමත් ගොදුරු වූවන් දහස ඉක්මවා ඇත.
විවිධ නගරවලින් විභාග මධ්යස්ථානයක් සඳහා අපේක්ෂකයින් පැමිණෙන අතර ඔවුන් දින 25 ක කාලයක් එකට සිටියි. මෙය උසස් පෙළ හා ශිෂ්යත්ව විභාගවලට මුහුණ දෙන සියලුම සිසුන්ගේ ජීවිත අවදානමට ලක් කරයි.

The GCE Advanced Level (A/L) & Grade 05 Scholarship examinations were already postponed twice due to the Kovid-19 epidemic.
The government of Sri Lanka took rightful steps to control the situation at early stages and decided to hold the exams in October. Unfortunately, the second wave of COVID 19 began at the beginning of October and is spreading across the island rapidly. It has already surpassed 1,000 victims.
Candidates will be coming for an examination centre from different cities and they will be together for a period of 25 days. This risks the lives of all students facing the A/L and Scholarship examinations.
