The Ministry of Education has taken measures to temporarily suspend the transfer of teachers in all national schools following a request by the principals.
The Ministry stated that this decision was taken after principals of several national schools requested not to transfer teachers in the middle of the term due to the difficulties in the education of the students created by the transfers.
Accordingly, the date of transfer of teachers this year will be informed in due course, the Ministry of Education issuing a statement said. The announcement further states that there will be no halt to the teacher transfer board meetings as a result.
The Ministry of Education will introduce a new App for Teacher Transfers in the future which will enable teachers to more easily and personally update information about their teacher transfers online.
